“Health equals inner peace and healing is the liberation from fear” is the second principle from ‘A Course In Miracles’ that the Archangels wish to address through symbols and a channeled message this time provided by Archangel Michael.

This strong and powerful Archangel is showing us a large sharpened metal sword and a shield radiating a bright white light as the symbolism that will illustrate his message.

The sword represents receiving the clarity, wisdom and courage to cut through the illusions of fear, which renders us into a state of deep inner peace that acts as a protective shield of light against destructive and undermining influences that sabotage our well-being as well as our physical, mental and emotional health. The metal quality of the sword indicates that we are spiritually activated and awakened, ready to see how the outer world reflects our inner world. We know how to use the metal sword as a protective barrier to only allow in and receive that which serves our highest good and to leave out the rest. Through the use of the sword, our shield of light will grow into a natural boundary and shine brightly as a light of inspiration and direction on our paths.

My dearest ones,

My message to you is twofold. The first part will be about the process of healing represented by the sword and the second one will be about the result of this journey, which is a state of inner peace and well-being as symbolized by the shield of light. The reason why I use this particular symbolism is because it is connected to the spirit and courage of a warrior of the heart, referring to the knowing of one’s own power and strength, but also one’s responsibility and focus.

If healing means the liberation from fear, we must firstly define what fear encompasses in your human experience. Fear is a lack of trust in yourself as well as in the Divine and the benevolent world of energy. Fear takes you by the throat and makes you feel utterly powerless and a victim of circumstances, both are a complete illusion. I would like to present you with the sword of clarity and truth to cut through this prison of fear and enlighten you with words that will carry an energy that will empower you from the inside out. Fear will inevitably arise throughout your life as people and situations will continue to test your faith and inner strength, but its influence does not have to be so destructive that it undermines the health of your body, mind and soul. Make sure you come prepared, carrying your sword of clarity and truth at all times, polish its shining metal surface and sharpen its blade, in case you need to draw it from its sheath whenever fear creeps up on you. Allow me to explain what I mean by this.

Polishing the metal surface metaphorically means being clear and strong about your beliefs and values and knowing when it is time to release what you cannot control or change. It is about implementing a certain degree of discipline into your life to keep moving forward and avoid the pitfalls of fear-based procrastination and stuckness. Every anxious reaction that surfaces is linked to an experience that you have lived through before or have seen before in the lives of others in this lifetime. These reactions are coloured by old emotions and the thoughts and beliefs that you have formed around them. You are born fearless, yet life teaches you to be afraid. The sharpening of the sword is necessary to cut the cords between what is happening right now, in your present moment, and the old energy that gets triggered by it. Triggering situations and altercations provide you with the opportunity to practice the use of your sword. They are really keys to portals of change and transformation. Each time you draw your sword and cut the cords with the past, you deflate the energy of these past experiences and you let the accompanying emotions flow away like water in a stream. This allows you to truly step through these portals of new opportunities, as you will be forever changed. You have proven to yourself that you are no longer a victim, but a creative force to be reckoned with, you recognize your power to set a new course and change your reactive patterns, for what has been released and cut away, no longer holds you in its paralyzing grip.

The use of your sword is connected to the shield of light that you create alongside it. Each time you succeed and conquer the ties of fear, your shield of light, which is your inner peace, will grow. This light is filled with increased wisdom, truth and enlightenment and nothing that is untrue can survive in its mighty glow. This shield is not meant to keep danger out, because there is no outer danger that could ever hurt you, only your internalization of it. That is why this shield is an inner shield, it is a healing light inside of you that chases away the darkness in every nook and cranny of your body, mind and soul until all that is left for you to realize is your true beingness of inner peace and joy. When you start to experience hightened moments of this peace that surpasses all thoughts and understanding, you will know in your heart that fear simply cannot arise, only its counterpart, which is unconditional love. Know, dear ones, that when you draw your sword, it is not to defeat your enemies, but to cut loose your own inner demons. The shield of light is a yes to the world and all that life conjures up, not a no. It is a yes, because your shield of light shows you love, health and well-being in their highest forms, not only within yourself, but also through the eyes with which you observe your world and the people in it. It benefits all, because with each hurdle you take and each challenge you overcome, you heal the totality, you bring health and well-being to all. That is truly how powerful you are! Remember this, dear ones, whenever fear arises in your experience, stand tall like a light warrior, straigthen your back and do not give in! Instead use your sword and shield for the greater good of all! And know that I, Archangel Michael, am right there with you!
