Dear email-subscribers and visitors,
I am so happy to be back with a special message from the angels for the autumn equinox as well as the celebration of Mabon, which marks the second harvest festival and the moment when both day and night are of equal length, symbolizing balance and harmony. It is a time of celebration and gratitude for the abundance and plentiful bounty from the Earth and the efforts of those who cultivated it. The angels wish to share a beautiful message with us through a symbolic vision quest that will prepare us for the new season to come!
Angelically inspired vision quest
As we walk through the rich fields of nature in the soft light that signifies the beginning of autumn, we watch the farmers bring in a bountiful harvest of pumpkins and apples. We pass them by with a smile of appreciation for their hard work. In the distance a large wooden shed becomes visible and as we approach it, our anticipation grows with every step. We enter the shed through double wooden doors and large crates with big orange pumpkins stacked on top of each other and countless baskets full of luscious red apples catch our eyes. Our hearts jump for joy at this sight and a deep feeling of gratitude flows over us, but then we suddenly become aware of something that stifles our spirit of celebration and excitement. We spot little grey mice nibbling away at one of the pumpkins and we notice that some of the apples have been bruised and are covered in brown spots. What seems to be a perfect harves turns out to be not so perfect after all, but then an angelic voice makes itself heard. ‘Do not worry about some of the pumpkins getting lost to Mother Earth’s little critters, there are plenty more left for all of you to feast upon and do not worry about the bruises on the apples, just cut them away and use these particular apples to make an apple pie!’

The angels encourage us to celebrate life and to be grateful for the abundance and blessings that come our way, but warn us not to become too rigid in our expectations and too controlling about what the seasons of life bring to our doorstep. The spiritual meaning of the little mice eating away at the pumpkin is about letting go of a mindset of
lack as well as letting go of a need to control all the details. Instead we are encouraged to pause more and appreciate the abundance and the beauty of the small things that bring us peace and the people in our lives that warm our hearts. Our wishes often come true between the lines and within the ordinary everyday settings of life. Instead of stressing about the unwanted and the losses we will inevitably endure, we are inspired by the angels to refocus on the wanted and the countless blessings we receive every day from the universe, but that are often easily overlooked by us.
The symbolism of the tiny mice teaches us to be present and to become aware of the details, not in a controlling way, but in an appreciative way. The pumpkins in the story further emphasize the importance of embracing a spirit of gratitude, abundance, and joy, and being open to the potential of a rich harvest that we are manifesting through our

renewed focus and perspective. Using the bruised apples to make an apple pie is the ultimate example of creativity and flexibility. Not all is lost because of one mistake, one blemish, or one shortcoming. The balance and harmony that the autumn equinox represents, consists of night and day, darkness and light, and the acceptance that one exists next to the other. The apple pie symbolizes the sweetness, comfort, and warmth of a stable homelife, even though it is baked with blemished apples. We too are not without our faults and failures, but the angels encourage us to lighten up and to not be so hard on ourselves and use our imagination and our creative spirit to make the best of what we have and who we are in any given moment. It is our divine birth-right to feel at home on planet Earth and to be loved, nurtured, and cherished. The angels are ready to help us bake our pies. Enjoy them, and share them with the world!

Apples symbolize love, well-being, fulfilment, and health. They are also known as ‘the forbidden fruit’, linked to the concept of good and evil in many religions. However, the angels bring us the message of oneness and remind us of our inner light that brings clarity to our shadow-aspects as part of the duality of life on planet Earth.
Our only prison consists of our own negative self-talk and the fears that we often keep hidden in the shadows. The angels encourage us to break free from the limitations of self-doubt and self-criticism by embracing the dance between light and dark and regaining our inner balance and peace, which is what this time of the equinox is all about. The falling leaves in the season of autumn inspire us to let go and release what we no longer need and what no longer serves our highest good.
Let’s celebrate the start of this wonderful, abundant, and blessed autumn season by practicing gratitude and treating ourselves with compassion and care as we release, cleanse, and ultimately cultivate the seeds for new growth and fulfilment when the sun regains its strength and the days start to lengthen again!
